The Audi Original adapter for the Audi music interface / media interface with iPod connectivity integrate your iPod into the Audi / VW sound system.
This adapter transmits not only track information and music, but also charging your iPod.
By using the Apple license chips we extend the functionality of the iPod / iPhone adapter cable plus the following functions:
- Cover Art (presentation of data stored on the iPod / iPhone Covers)
- Browsing the video contents of the iPod / iPhone
- Play videos, movies, video podcasts, and music videos
Supported iPods, iPhones and iPads:
- iPod Nano 5G with firmware 1.0.2 or later
- iPod Nano 6G with the firmware 1.0.0 or later (no video support)
- iPod Touch 1G, 2G, 3G with firmware 3.0.0 or later
- iPod Touch 4G with firmware 4.0.0 or higher
