Here you have an original Volkswagen navigation system of the latest generation including installation in older vehicles.
These devices are usually provided with a protective element. This has been compensated for here, so that an installation in the older generation vehicles (2006-2014) is possible.

In the facility, there is no more PIN code.

If you want to use the device on a newer vehicle (as of 2015), you will need to use CAN bus adapters to get all the functions. Then select the adapter from the adjacent list of options.

App connection:
With App Connect, you can mirror the contents of your smartphone (Adroid or Apple) to the Discover Media.
App Connect directly from VW can be activated on the Discover Media.
Warning !!! A subsequent unlock is not possible. So they should decide before you buy whether you want App Connect or not.
