The SoundBooster Pro simulates a large-volume engine (V6 / V8) or develops its own sound characteristics. With this ActiveSound system, you get powerful engine and exhaust sound at the push of a button.
KUFATEC is the SoundBooster Pro for almost every automarke and model. The prerequisite is a CAN BUS system. With the vehicle-specific set for the Land Rover Discovery 5 variant 1 (sound generator behind), you get the sound generator with the already fitting bracket for the vehicle model and do not need any more welding or drilling.
With the EXTENDED version, you get the control unit from Maserati instead of Audi as an external sound module (ESM).
The system at a glance:
- this system is known from Audi, in which it is installed ex factory with all TDI engines with 313 hp
- the outside noise generator simulates a large-volume engine, dropping partially the typical TDI noise
- this sound is not achieved with any sports exhaust system
- the KUFATEC Soundbooster Pro gives the entire system a unique sound
- a powerful V6 / V8 sound (depending on the configuration)
- LED status display for easy installation
- You can choose between 6 sound profiles
- Profile 1 offers a very discreet sound for noise sensitive areas
- Sound profile selection either with push button, radio remote control or via vehicle-integrated operation, Cruise control
- for the push-button, we recommend the installation in the front area (eg in the driver's footwell)
- Adaptation of the profiles and characteristic fields via freely available software
Before the purchase:
Please download the instructions before purchase and check if there is sufficient space on your vehicle at the place provided for the outside noise generator on the underbody.
Due to the different equipment and variants of the same car model, there is the possibility that in individual cases the selected position on the vehicle floor does not provide sufficient space.

Note:
- please download the instructions before the purchase and check the space on the floor
- Variant 1 contains a sound generator for the rear
- this retrofit will change the noise emission of the vehicle, the regulations of the StVZO must be observed
